BROMO ADVENTURE (2D1N)

The journey gradually brings you up to an altitude of 2,300 meters. Mount Bromo is a part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park that covers a massive area of 800 square km. While it may be small when measured against other volcanoes in Indonesia, the magnificent Mt Bromo will not disappoint with its spectacular views and dramatic landscapes. All you will hear is the click of cameras as visitors snap their camera’s hoping to capture the incredible scene of Mt Bromo in the foreground with Mt Semeru smoking in the distance and the sun shining brightly, quickly rising in the sky. During this trip, you will climb stunning active volcanoes, dance at the edge of the calderas.

Route: Surabaya – Bromo – Surabaya or base on your request 

Day 1: Departure from Surabaya to Bromo.

Day 2:  Bromo hike, and drop off Surabaya or base on your request

• our usual route for 3 days to Java is: Surabaya- Bromo- Kawah Ijen – Banyuwangi katapang port
• trains and buses stations if you wish to continue your journey in Java, especially Yogyakarta.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 SURABAYA-BROMO AREA

• Pick up from Juanda International Airport with a comfortable car or minibus in Surabaya. 
• After a few hours for driving through Javanese landscapes. We Would like to visit Madakaripura Waterfall to enjoy the magnificent natural sight 
• Travel to Mount Bromo Area.
• Check in to café lava hostel 

DAY 2 BROMO ADVENTURE

• Our journey begins with departure aboard by 4WD jeep at 03.30am. We will climb to the top of the Tenger-Bromo caldera to reach the “King-Kong” viewpoint (altitude of 2,650 m.) At the viewpoint platform, we will witness a stunning sunrise over the following volcanoes: Bromo (active, altitude of 2,300 m), Batok (dormant, altitude of 2,400 m), Semeru (active and erupting, altitude of 3,677 m, the tallest volcano in Java), See the spectacular sunrise from View point (Best view to see Sunrise)

• After enjoying the beautiful view (and depending on the weather conditions), then we go back to Jeep 4WD, continue to Hill of Love and you can take a photo stop there. We will go to the Jeep Parking area through the sea of sand and head towards Bromo Crater. We will cross the “sea of sand” (mostly made up of the volcanic ashes and debris of prior eruptions) and head to the sacred Hindu temples at the foot of the spectacular Bromo and Batok Mountain. We will go up a steep and narrow path and climb 250 steps to reach the top of the Bromo. Then, will we be able to experience the beauty of the smoking crater, stunned by the sounds coming from the entrails of the Earth, and its Sulphur vapors emanating from the depths of the volcano.  
• Turn to the Jeep and back to your hotel. Have breakfast at 09:30am and checkout at 11.00am. Then, we continue to drop off you at the place that you choose to continue your next trip.

Important information

Altitude temperatures at the top of the volcanoes (2,300 m) can range from +2 to +25 degrees. We therefore highly recommend that you come adequately equipped. You will need a pair of sports or hiking shoes and warm clothes (jacket, rainwear, sweatshirt, fleece, beanie, etc.).
