Route: Hotel at Bondowoso and banyuwangi or base on your request

Departure from your Hotel or Base on your request to go to Kawah Ijen. Ijen hike, and drop off you base on your request

• our usual route for 3 days to Java is: Surabaya- Bromo- Kawah Ijen – Banyuwangi katapang port
• trains and buses stations if you wish to continue your journey in Java, especially Yogyakarta.

ITINERARY

• Checkout around 23:00pm and travel to Paltuding area.
• Reach Paltuding permit postat approximately 01.00 am, before hiking to Kawah Ijen an altitude of 1,900 m around midnight, where we will meet our guides, receive instructions and be provided with headlights and masks. Our ascent will start around 01.30am. Our experienced guides will lead us along the beautiful mountain road under the starry sky. It will take us approximately 1 and a half to 2 hours to get to the top of the volcano crater.
• At the peak, we will be able to see the famous Sulphur of Ijen Blue Flame. As the Blue Flames are dependent on the moon light and rain, sightings are dependent on suitable weather. As with other natural phenomena, sightings cannot be guaranteed but we will bring you to the choice view point.
• At the break of dawn, if weather permits and it is deemed safe to do so by the authorities, you can walk down to the rim of the Ijen Lake. You can enjoy the morning lake view of Ijen and walk back to Kawah Ijen before returning to Paltuding or basecamp area.
• We will drop you off at your hotel or base on your request such Bus station, Train Station or Airport around this area.

Important information

Due to the high volcanic activity of Kawah Ijen and weather conditions, the possibility of descent into the crater can be limited and always determined by the management of the national park every day separately. Anyway, you will have an unforgettable impression from the rim of the volcano, or from inside the crater, with the sunrise above the biggest acid lake in the world, and sulfur mine. No additional costs; you only need to cover your own personal expenses, food and drinks, and tips for drivers and guides.
